A Son's Mission to Help His Mother Keep Gardening
Innovation often begins with a simple question: "There has to be a better way."
For Gardeners Partner founder Jesse, that question became personal when he watched his mother struggle with the physical demands of gardening. She loved growing fresh vegetables, but years of bending, weeding, watering, and preparing the soil were becoming increasingly difficult.
He wasn't looking to reinvent gardening; Jesse wanted to help his mom continue doing what she loved.
When Jesse shared the idea with his son, Josh, it quickly became a family mission. Together, they set out to design a gardening system that would reduce the hardest parts of traditional gardening while helping plants thrive naturally.

What began as a simple idea evolved through three growing seasons of real-world testing. From the heat and humidity of Southwest Florida to the changing seasons of Western New York, every version of the planter was refined through hands-on use, not just in a workshop, but in real gardens.
Throughout the process, Jesse's mother contributed something no design software could provide: decades of gardening experience. Her practical insight helped shape every improvement, ensuring the planter solved real problems faced by everyday gardeners.
Built by Three Generations
Gardeners Partner is more than an invention—it's the result of three generations working toward a common goal.
Jesse developed and refined the original concept. Josh helped transform the idea into a business through New Concept Gardening Products, bringing fresh ideas and helping share the vision with other gardeners. And Jesse's mother remained both the inspiration and the ultimate test gardener, providing the experience and honest feedback that guided the product from prototype to production.
Together, they created a gardening system designed to support the gardener as much as the garden.
Growing Forward
Today, Jesse's mother, now 75 years old, continues to enjoy one of the things she loves most: gardening.
That simple success is still the company's greatest measure of achievement.
